Women's Soccer News...
AUGUST, 2007 -- Coach Cogley hires Bill Nelson, a well respected Strength
and Conditioning coach to work with the Women's Soccer team.
Coach Nelson is CSCS certified and is currently involved in
numerous coaching responsibilities. Coach Nelson had
previously worked for North Dakota State University as a
Strength and Conditioning coach.
AUGUST, 2007 -- Coach Cogley hires his first Assistant Coach.
Kelly
Dudgeon will be the first to come onto Coach Cogley's staff.
Coach Dudgeon has a wealth of soccer background and
experience. Coach Dudgeon is a recent graduate of
Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD where she was a four
year starter as well as team captain.
JUNE, 2007 -- Steve Cogley accepts the women's head
soccer coach position.
Coach Cogley brings a significant winning background to
Presentation College. Cogley recently returned from
Bowling Green, Ohio where he worked with some of the best
soccer coaches in the country during a United States Soccer
Federation training course. Cogley intends on turning the
women's soccer program into a strong and talented unit that
will be capable of contending in the UMAC conference. Coach
Cogley will be recruiting all over the country with the
intention of bringing in the best student athletes he can
locate.
Jessica
Tuomi, UMAC First Team All Conference (November 3rd, 2006)
Junior Midfielder, Jessica Tuomi from Palmer,
Alaska was named UMAC First Team All-Conference.
Tuomi recorded two assists on the year as well 17
shots on goal.
JoAnna
Rezac, UMAC Honorable Mention All Conference (November 3rd,
2006)
Junior Midfielder, JoAnna Rezac was named to the
UMAC Honorable Mention All-Conference Team.
Rezac hails from right here in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
