ABERDEEN, S.D. – Presentation College history professor Dr. Brad Tennant has been named one of ten scholars to lead Bill of Rights humanities programs during 2017. 


The South Dakota Humanities Council, in partnership with the South Dakota State Library, is sponsoring “Amending America – The Bill of Rights and You,” a national initiative recognizing the 225th anniversary of the Bill of Rights in 2016.


The initiative includes a National Archives exhibit on the Bill of Rights at more than fifty South Dakota libraries as well as discussion programs throughout the state. Tennant has worked with the SDHC for over twenty years as a program evaluator, One Book discussion leader, and Speakers Bureau presenter on a variety of state and regional topics.
