As a new student at Presentation College, an entrance assessment test is required. The ETS Proficiency Profile is an assessment of general academic skills. It includes material usually covered in courses taken during the first two years of college referred to as the “general education” curriculum. This assessment is used by the College to evaluate learning outcomes of the general education program, and is intended to improve the quality of instruction and student learning. Upon graduation, you will take the MAPP exam again, demonstrating improvement in your academic skills.
Online PC Virtual students will take the ETS exam with the assistance of a proctor in their home area. You can find the proctor information and form here (pdf).
For help in making arrangements to take the ETS, please contact the Admissions Department at (605) 229-8361 or 1-800-437-6060 ext. 361.
