Baccalaureate nursing education has as its goal the education of professional nurses

who have a broad knowledge of nursing, the physical and behavioral sciences, and the humanities.

 

Graduates provide leadership in nursing and collaborate with other professionals in the health care system, assume responsibility for competent nursing practice and continued

professional development, and demonstrate commitment to the profession.

Restricted elective = chosen outside nursing, natural sciences, and psychology.
