Federal Pell Grant

Pell Grants are awarded based on financial need as determined by the Department of Education.  This is a grant and does not need to be repaid.  The amount of the Pell Grant is determined by enrollment status and costs of attendance.  Grants range from $523 to $4,731 per academic year.  Typically those students with an expected family contribution (EFC) of $4,041 or less qualify for a Pell Grant, although the dollar amount will vary.
