Nancy Hartung, BSN RN has been a nurse since 1994, following
graduation from Presentation College
with an Associate
Degree in Nursing. In 1997, Nancy completed her
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State
University. She is currently seeking a Master of
Science Degree in Nursing Education from Walden University,
which she will complete in August 2009.
Nancy has worked in a number of different areas in nursing
over the years, including pediatrics, long term care,
community health, oncology and as nursing coordinator for an
agency supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
In 2000, Nancy's youngest son was diagnosed with juvenile
diabetes when he was four years old. Since then, her
primary focus personally and professionally has been in the
area of diabetes and diabetes education.
Nancy and her husband Joe are both Aberdeen natives. They
have two son's, Steven and Daniel.
