I grew up on a farm near Dickinson, ND. I moved to Aberdeen
in 2003 to pursue my undergraduate degree from Presentation
College. While in college I worked as a Teaching Assistant
for PC’s Biology department and volunteered as a science
tutor.. In 2006 I worked as a Neuroscience Research Intern
for the University of North Dakota, working primarily in the
Anatomy and Cell Biology Lab and Pharmacology, Physiology
and Therapeutics Lab. In 2007 I received my B.S in Biology,
A.S. in Chemistry, A.A. in Religious Studies and a minor in
Psychology. I went on to receive my M.S. in Biology in 2009
from St. Joseph College.
The summer of
2007 I worked as an adjunct
instructor at Presentation College, teaching Anatomy and
Physiology labs, and as a Chemistry Lab Assistant.
In the fall of 2007 I was hired as the Science Lab
Coordinator for PC.
