Stacey Van Gelderen began working as a registered nurse for
Fairmont Medical Center in the summer of 1999. She worked in
the areas of Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, Nursery, & Same
Day Surgery. In 2001 she began working for Intrepid USA
Health Care Services as a Nurse Case Manager. During this
time she also began working for MN West Community &
Technical College as a clinical and lab instructor. In the
fall of 2005, she began working for Presentation College
Fairmont Campus as a clinical instructor for the areas of
medical-surgical, obstetrics, and pediatrics. In 2007, she
began teaching the Maternal Child Health course and in 2009
the Applied Drug Therapy course for nursing students.
In May 2009, she completed her graduate degree focusing in
nursing education from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
She enjoys using a collaborative learning environment when
working with students.
Stacey enjoys spending family time with her three girls and
husband. As a family they camp, fish, and enjoy the outdoors.
In her spare time, she enjoys scrapbooking and quilting, and
gardening.
