Martin Albl has taught religious studies at Presentation
since 1998. His regular courses include an overview of
Christian theology, scriptural studies, Christian ethics,
and an overview of world religions. Special topics have
included "Women in the Bible," "Heaven, Hell, and the
Last Things," and "Theology of Rock and Roll, Rap, and
Reggae."
Dr. Albl has authored several books and articles, most
recently Reason, Faith, Tradition: Explorations in Catholic
Theology (2009) and
Saint Mary’s Press Essential Guide to Biblical Life and
Times
(2009). He is currently
working on a translation and commentary on the Letter of
James for a project sponsored by the Ecole Biblique in
Jerusalem.
