Stacie Shaw joined the Presentation College family in 2004 as an adjunct instructor in the Arts and Sciences department. Stacie teaches a variety of Psychology courses, Statistics and Intro to Sociology. She joined the full-time faculty in 2008, teaching both traditional classroom courses and online courses. She is also the Program Director for Psychology. Stacie also teaches at another area college, Buena Vista University in Estherville and Spencer, IA.
Stacie grew up in southern Minnesota where she gained valuable skills working for her parents running their hardware store and doing plumbing / heating/ AC. She moved to Mobile, AL for the warm weather and to attend school. After meeting and marrying her husband, they returned to Minnesota with their 2 “kids” (1 dog and 1 cat). Their family has now grown to 4 “kids” with 2 dogs and 2 cats.
Stacie and her husband, John, are actively involved in Square Dancing and Round Dancing (cued ballroom dancing), and assists in both square and round dance lessons each year. In addition to dancing, they enjoy camping in their small, yet cozy, camper.
