Sandy Cahoy began working at Presentation College in 2012 as the Director of the Career and Learning Center and an adjunct mathematics instructor. She became a full-time mathematics instructor in 2014 and currently teaches elementary, intermediate, and college algebra. Sandy earned a B. S. in Secondary Education from Northern State University in 1979 with a major in mathematics and a minor in physical education. In 1984 she earned a Master of Education degree from South Dakota State University. Prior to working at Presentation College, Sandy taught mathematics for 33 years in the Aberdeen Public School System.
Sandy enjoys working with all of the students at Presentation College and appreciates the opportunity to learn about the various regions of the country and world through her students. She is proud to be a Saints fan and loves cheering on PC students at athletic events.
Sandy and her husband Gary have two adult sons, two daughter-in-laws, and three grandchildren. Her hobbies include gardening, scrapbooking, and being a motorcycle passenger.
