Graduating students of a program accredited byCAAHEPare eligible to take the national Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) examination conducted by the certifying board of theAmerican Association of Medical Assistants. Upon passing the exam, the CMA credential is awarded. The graduate is also eligible to take the national certifying test from theAmerican Medical Technologists(AMT) and become a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
