High School or GED Transcripts
Students must request official transcripts from their high schools and have them sent directly to the College. Students who received their General Equivalency Diploma (GED) must submit an official copy of their certificate.
If you are a home-schooled student, Presentation College will accept official transcript(s) from local home schooling guilds or association schools in lieu of traditional high school transcripts. If not available, primary educator-prepared transcripts, which detail course descriptions, proficiency levels and textbooks used, are acceptable.
ACT or SAT Scores
Each student is required to provide a copy of their ACT or SAT scores. The minimum composite ACT score for admission is an 18. The minimum reading and math score for SAT is 860. A residual ACT test can be taken through the Career Learning Centers on the Aberdeen & Fairmont campuses. These scores are required of each student unless a student transfers to the College with more than 30 college credits.
Any student who has attended another college, must request official copies of college transcripts (whether or not credit was received and regardless of the age of the record) to be sent directly to the Admission Office. This includes any Advanced Placement (AP) courses taken.
An international applicant is advised to begin application procedures at least six months in advance of anticipated enrollment. In addition to the above items, the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is required. See www.toefl.org for more information. International students also must submit a Declaration and Certification of Finances Form. For further information about international student enrollment, refer to the Presentation College Catalog.
