Don't wait any longer!
You have the skills and experience. Now it’s time to earn your career-enhancing full academic degree.
As an experienced RN or LPN, you’re likely balancing your career, family and other priorities as you also deliver the best possible care to patients. At the same time, hospitals and healthcare organizations nationwide are now requiring career-track nurses to have full academic degrees to qualify for raises, promotions, and managerial roles.
The fully online LPN-to-BSN, and RN-to-BSN Completion Programs from Presentation College are designed with you in mind. Our CCNE and ACEN-accredited programs offer an accelerated path to a bachelor’s degree for licensed and registered nurses.
These programs are only offered through the College’s Online PC Virtual Department. This online program is available to residents of Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Why a four-year nursing degree?
A four-year education helps nurses navigate the increasingly complex medical field. In its report The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health, the Institute of Medicine recommends that 80 percent of all nurses have, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree by 2020. A four-year degree is also the foundation for the advanced education needed for advanced practice positions (nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, nurse midwife, nurse anesthetist) and other advanced nursing roles (administrator, educator, or researcher).
