The learning experience in the biology program is designed to have a health care focus. You’ll be able to customize your studies by pursuing additional pre-professional options in physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician assistant, medicine, chiropractic medicine, dental, and mortuary science. And with our cadaver lab—a distinctive facility for a school our size—and remodeled labs, you’ll benefit from excellent resources and technology.

The Opportunities

From opportunities to engage in meaningful, significant research alongside faculty, to presenting your findings at conferences and in other settings, to enlightening activities and co-curricular biology programs, your journey will be a fulfilling and well-rounded one. Our Biology Club will enable you to further develop your interest in the field, as well as sharpen leadership skills. You can gain valuable teaching experience by serving as a lab teaching assistant. And graduates of the biology program are automatically awarded an associate’s degree in chemistry.
