Discover Radiologic Technology
In today’s world of health care, more reliance than ever is being placed on skilled specialists in fields like radiologic technology to deliver critical information to the rest of the health care team. Radiologic Technologists produce images of internal body structures and assist radiologists in special procedures. Radiologic Technologist can add a variety specialties such as: Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, Radiation Therapy, Mammography, Vascular Imaging, and Ultrasound.
Our program offers more course work in CT than typical programs. You’ll be guided by expert faculty as you explore special imaging modalities such as CT, MRI, mammography, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, ultrasound, and interventional or cardiac imaging.
We provide clinical sites at Avera and Sanford hospitals in Aberdeen, as well as at hospitals in Spearfish, South Dakota; Mankato, Minnesota; St. James, Minnesota; and Fairmont, Minnesota. There is also an Associate of Science program in radiologic technology, graduates of which can seamlessly enroll in the bachelor’s completion program.
When you earn your bachelor’s degree from our program you’ll have gained exceptional preparation to sit for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists professional certification exam. You’ll also have a solid foundation for advanced study, and many of our students go on to earn their master’s degree.
