Discover Exercise Science
The study of exercise science offers a fascinating look at the human body in relation to concepts of fitness, conditioning, nutrition, and the prevention of injury and illness. The exercise science program at Presentation delivers a challenging and rigorous learning experience, characterized by extensive hands-on training and lab work.

Students in the Exercise Science Program explore areas related to the movement of the human body, including, anatomy, physiology, assessing fitness, how to properly condition, how diet impacts overall wellness, and more. You’ll combine your study of the exercise science curriculum with opportunities to develop skills in problem solving, communication, and critical thinking.

Students spend extensive time working in labs and engaging in hands-on learning experiences. Our new Wellness Center offers state-of-the-art learning resources and equipment, and exercise science students have unlimited access to the facilities. Students also take advantage of exciting internship opportunities—locally, regionally, nationally.

Students are prepared for certification exams for positions like personal training, strength and conditioning, group fitness instructor, health and fitness specialist, and more. Our graduates also pursue advanced degrees in areas like exercise physiology, biomechanics, sports psychology, physical therapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, medicine, and athletic training.

Students in the Exercise Science Program often customize their program of study to fit their specific interests by double majoring in Biology, Business, Athletic Training, and another program of choice or they may choose to minor in coaching, sports psychology, nutrition, and more!
