Mission Statement & Goals

Students graduating from the Business Department at Presentation College will leave the institution with specific knowledge and skills marketable in the current business environment.

The mission of the Department of Business and Technology is to offer undergraduate students a business education of distinction. We seek to educate the whole person, to help students develop a global perspective, to provide students a basis for life-long learning, to encourage students to seek opportunities to serve others and to prepare students for success in the business environment of the 21st century.

In addition, students in the Bachelor program will also learn niche-specific skills, dependent on the chosen major. Application of the skills and knowledge in a “real world” environment will occur in the capstone Internship course. In addition to measurable skills, students will see how ethics and the international business environment impact the different areas of business. Combined with the general education requirements of Presentation College, students graduating from the Department of Business will leave with a well-rounded education which prepares them for a variety of business endeavors or graduate school.
