- The Presentation College Saints were out-shot by a 40-to-31 percent margin, and made 18 fewer trips to the free-throw stripe in the second half, as they fell 58-45 to St. Scholastica Saturday night. The Saints from Duluth made 11 of their 16 second-half free-throw chances, while Presentation did not even make one appearance at the charity stripe in the final 20 minutes of the game.
After jumping out to a pair of early five-point leads, Presentation would end up finishing the first half trailing by four at 28-24. Scholastica then opened the second half on an 11-2 run to expand the margin to 13 before Presentation would break the string. PC would fight throughout the remainder of the second half to get back in the game, but were unable to bring the contest to a one-possession mark the rest of the way.
Presentation was led offensively in the contest by Eric May, who scored a team-high 10 points after coming off the bench. Scholastica's Troy Miller scored 15 points to lead all scorers, while his teammate Danny Schmitz hit for 13.

The Saints will take on Bethany on Friday night in Aberdeen, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the Strode Center.
