Presentation College faculty member publishes article

ABERDEEN, S.D. -- Presentation College faculty member Dr. Brad Tennant recently published an article titled "After Lewis and Clark: Expedition Personalities and South Dakota History." In his article, Tennant discusses the lives of people associated with the 1804-1806 Lewis and Clark Expedition and their later connection to historical events in what is now South Dakota. The article appeared in the Fall/Winter 2007 issue of the Heritage of the Great Plains, a refereed scholarly journal published by the Center for Great Plains Studies in Emporia, Kansas.

Tennant received his Doctor of Education degree in 2007 from the University of South Dakota. With 25 years of teaching experience in Aberdeen, Tennant is a member of the South Dakota State Historical Society Board of Trustees. Tennant also gives presentations on a variety of topics related to state and regional history and is listed in the 2008 South Dakota State Humanities Council Speakers Bureau.
