Presentation College Names New Head Men’s Basketball Coach

Presentation College is pleased to announce Matt Sevareid has accepted the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach.  Sevareid has been Assistant Basketball Coach at Jamestown College.  He previously served as an Administrative Assistant at Gonzaga University and a Graduate Assistant Coach at Northern State.

“Matt will be a great addition to Presentation College,” said Athletic Director Rick Kline.  “He brings a lot of enthusiasm for basketball and some good connections to the South Dakota basketball community.”

Coach Sevareid is eager to join the Saints coaching staff.  “I really appreciate this opportunity.  I look forward to helping our student athletes succeed on and off the court,” said Sevareid.

Matt Sevareid holds a Master of Science in Health, Physical Education and Recreation from Northern State University.  He also earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education from Northern.  Sevareid played basketball for Northern State from 1998 through 2001.  He is a native of Mitchell, South Dakota.
