Mardis Gras Scholarships Awarded

Presentation College Fairmont campus is pleased to announce this year’s recipients of the Mardi Gras scholarships, Sabreen Omar, Staci Schofield, Sarah Stocker and Sarah Jacobs. Mardi Gras is an annual event filled with an evening of fine dining, New Orleans style, socializing with friends and dancing to entertaining music. All proceeds go to scholarships to benefit the students of PC Fairmont Campus.

Sabreen Omar, daughter of Zeinab Mohamed & Dini Omar of Mankato, MN, is a sophomore Nursing student. Staci Schofield, daughter of Steven and Sara Meyer of Mankato, MN, is a sophomore Radiologic Technology student. Sarah Stocker, daughter of Hilary and Sandy Stocker of Faribault, MN, is a Sophomore Nursing student. Sarah Jacobs, daughter of Richard and Susan Orchard of Madelia, MN, is a Sophomore Radiologic Technology student. Students considered for the Mardis Gras Scholarship must have a 3.0 GPA and be a full-time student seeking a Bachelor’s Degree.

“This is the third year for the event and it continues to grow, which shows the Fairmont community’s support and desire to have PC Fairmont be successful,” said Traci Lardy, Director of the Fairmont Campus. The next annual Mardis Gras will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2011.
