Presentation names assistant soccer coach

ABERDEEN, S.D. -- Presentation College has named Evan Ormand as the assistant men’s soccer coach. Ormand is a 2007 graduate of PC and a former standout goalkeeper for the Saints.

Ormand was the 2006 UMAC Conference Player of the Year, as well as a two-time UMAC All-Conference selection, two-time USCAA All-American and two-time USCAA National All-Tournament Team selection. He was also instrumental in scoring PC’s first UMAC conference title in 2006.

“Ormand’s experience on the field and his knowledge of the program make him an incredible asset to our coaching staff,” said Head Men’s Soccer Coach Bob Schuchardt. “With his leadership skills, he is an excellent fit for our program.”

Ormand most recently served as the assistant boy’s soccer coach at Aberdeen Central.

“I’m excited to come back and coach at my alma mater,” Ormand said. “I admire Coach Schuchardt and it is an honor to work for him. We have a talented group of players and I can’t wait to see how far we can take them.”
