Presentation College unveils new logo
ABERDEEN, S.D. -- Presentation College unveiled a new logo today, replacing the green diamond and cross with a more contemporary design. The new logo includes an oval, modern cross and overlapping text in the official green and gold colors of the College.
"We wanted to update the look and feel of the logo while remaining true to our mission and our roots," said Director of Advancement Jennifer Hieb. "The new logo pays homage to our status as an independent Christian institution while presenting a strong, unified message."
Created by Coordinator of Marketing and Graphic Design Greg Blair, the logo will be representative of each of the Presentation College campuses, including Aberdeen, Eagle Butte and Fairmont, Minn.
"As the College has grown and extended its reach across South Dakota, Minnesota and beyond, it has become increasingly important to find a common identity," said Vice President for Enrollment and Student Retention Services JoEllen Lindner. "We wanted one logo that would be instantly recognizable as Presentation College."
Reaction to the new logo was positive from both faculty and students at PC. Students present at the unveiling were excited about the change.
"The new design is bright and fresh," said Kelsey Houghtaling, a junior biology major. "I think the design is more reflective of who we are as a College."
The process of implementing the new logo will begin immediately. Additionally, Presentation College will launch a new website in July, which will feature interactive elements and a streamlined format.
