Social work department chair to present at Lunch and Learn
ABERDEEN, S.D. --Presentation College Social Work Chair Tom Gilsenan will be the featured speaker at PC’s April Lunch and Learn. Gilsenan will present "Making Connections: Using the Internet to Link College and Community." Gilsenan will explore new Internet applications and share his experiences using them to bridge the gap.
"New opportunities for linking college and community have emerged with the growth of the Internet," Gilsenan said. "Weblogs, My Space, Second Life and other Web-based applications make it possible to connect college and community in a host of new ways."
Gilsenan will present on Thursday, April 24 at 12 p.m. in the Presentation College Dining Hall.
Presentation College’s Lunch and Learn series is held on the last Thursday of each month and is open to the public. Lunch will be available for $5 starting at 11:45 a.m. Please RSVP to the Advancement Office at 606-229-8454 by Monday, April 21 to reserve your seat.
