Presentation College - Fairmont Campus to Hold Student Orientation
New and returning student orientation will be held at the Presentation College-Fairmont Campus August 20 and 21. “Orientation gives students the opportunity to become familiar with everything a student needs to know about how to be prepared for success in college,” said Fairmont Campus Dean Cliff Rhodes. All orientation activities will be held at the SMEC Building in Fairmont.
New student orientation will be held on Monday, August 20. Students will receive information on academics, library services, student services, and tutoring. Laptop computers will also be issued. Students already owning laptops are encouraged to bring them to ensure access the wireless network. Representatives from the Financial Aid and Business Office will be on hand to assist with student fee payment.
Returning students are invited to participate in registration and orientation 12:30 – 6:00 pm on August 20 or 8:00 – 11:00 am on August 21. All new and returning students as well as Fairmont Campus faculty and staff are invited to lunch on Monday, August 20 at 11:00 am, compliments of Presentation College.
Textbook orders will also be delivered for both new and returning students on both days. Student wishing to order textbooks may do so online at www.presentation.edu.
