Presentation College has the following work-study positions available for the upcoming academic year.  Students must be awarded work-study funds in order to pursue these employment opportunities.  Your Award Notification found via the Student Port under "My Financial Aid" will reflect whether you have been awarded federal or institutional work-study.

You may contact the individuals listed below to express your interest in the position and set up an interview upon receipt of your Award Notification.  It is in your best interest to initial contact immediately.  It is the student's responsibility to initiate contact and secure the work-study positions.  Presentation College does not guarantee placement.

Avera St. Luke’s Child Development Center/America Reads (Contact: Tonya Senger at 605-622-5590 or tonya.senger@averastlukes.org)

Job Description:  Provide daily care for children and assist with pre-school activities.  Tutor individuals from elementary age children to assist in building reading and comprehension skills.  This may be accomplished through reading one-on-one or to a group and through interactions of games and activities that promote literacy.  Other activities may include administrative tasks such as coordinating lesson plans and preparing literacy materials.

Avera St. Luke’s Physical Therapy Dept./Outpatient Clinic (Contact:  Brenda Lanphere at 622-5688)

Assistant: Assist Therapist with patient care; Assist patients in gym; Clean treatment areas; and assist with clerical duties.
