State Grant Program
Minnesota
State Grant Program is available to Minnesota residents who will be enrolled for at
least three credits as an undergraduate student at our Fairmont,
MN, campus. Award amount varies according to number of
credits enrolled, student's EFC and program of student.
A student who does not have the equivalent of 12 full-time
quarter or eight full-time semesters of postsecondary attendance
may be eligible. Attendance is accumulated using units,
with 96 units being the equivalent of four academic years of
full-time attendance. Attempted credits are used to
determine attendance. A student is no longer eligible for
the grant program once they have earned a baccalaureate degree. An initial application is required only on the first year of
enrollment and used to process each academic year until
undergraduate program is completed along with the current year's FAFSA.
