Each year, hundreds of students directly benefit from the generous financial support of our alumni and friends through academic and leadership scholarships.
Scholarships are an excellent way to pay tribute to the special ties you have to Presentation College. The gift can be named in memory or honor of someone, at the discretion of the donor(s). Friends and family members can contribute to scholarships at any time.There are two types of scholarships: direct and endowed.
Endowed Scholarships
Endowed funds are maintained in perpetuity and a portion of the annual investment return is used to fund the purpose specified by the donor.Endowed, named scholarships require a minimum gift of $10,000. At the time the donor makes the gift, Presentation College prepares a Memorandum of Agreement which documents the donor’s intended use of the endowment and the College’s administration of the fund. The amount used to fund the scholarships is established each year by the College Board of Trustees. Earnings in excess of the payout are used to grow the fund. Endowments are a convenient way to provide a long-term commitment to Presentation College, while leaving a legacy reflecting your interests and generosity.
Direct Scholarships
With a direct scholarship, the gift is given directly to students, as specified by the donor. This requires a minimum gift of $1,000.
