PC sets date for annual Black & White Ball

Presentation College will be holding the 2014 Black & White Ball March 1 at the Ramkota Convention Center beginning at 6 p.m. The 12th annual gala has been a fixture at the college for many years, and is a student scholarship fundraising event for academically-talented students.

This year’s Black & White Ball theme, titled Now in Color, will add a pop or color and excitement to the event. The décor will play off of the classic movie The Wizard of Oz. The ball will feature a cocktail hour, dinner, dessert, dancing, music, auctions and more.

The diversely-talented band Tami and the Bachelors will headline the event, the four piece musical ensemble specializes in music ranging from the classic ‘20s to today’s hits. Tami and the Bachelors entertains audiences with a wide array of songs from The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Patsy Cline, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and many more.

“We are excited for our 12th Annual Black & White Ball, we have a lot to celebrate this year,” said Kelli Krause, Marketing Coordinator and Black & White Ball Committee Member. “This is such a great event because it gives members of the Aberdeen community a chance to come together, have fun and raise money for a very deserving cause.”

Tickets are now available for the black-tie affair for $60 per person or $480 per table of eight.
