ABERDEEN, S.D. – Presentation College will be holding its annual Booster Kick-Off Event Thursday, Aug. 22 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at AmericInn located at 301 Centennial St. South.
“This event will be a great chance for the community and our Saints supporters to hear about all the exciting things happening at PC,” said Saints Athletic Director Brian Spielbauer.
Guests will hear more about the Saints move to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), and NorthStar Athletic Association (NSAA), and becoming Saints Boosters.
“This event is great because it’s the official kick off of fall athletics at PC. It gives us an opportunity to recruit new members and show our current boosters our sincere appreciation. The Booster Club has a reputation of strong student athlete support,” added Spielbauer. “We look forward to seeing everyone there.”
The event will also have the newly appointed conference commissioner Cory Anderson in attendance as a guest speaker. Hear Anderson speak about the NAIA Champions of Character program and the NAIA’s mission to instill the five core values that build character so students, coaches, and parents know, do and value the right thing on and off the field.
In addition to Anderson, guests will also have the opportunity to hear from the Saints coaching staff about the upcoming seasons and meet the new mascot.
Food and beverages will be provided. The public is encouraged to attend.
