PC faculty member published in journal

Dr. Brad Tennant, Presentation College associate professor of History, recently published an article in the February 2013 issue of We Proceeded On, the journal of the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation.  Tennant’s article, titled “’Lewis and Clark and the Teton Sioux,” addresses arguments for and against the question of whether Lewis and Clark expected to meet the Teton Sioux.

In September 1804, the Lewis and Clark Expedition spent four days with the Teton Sioux (Lakota) near the Bad River in present-day central South Dakota.

Tennant gives presentations on a variety of topics related to state and regional history and is listed in the South Dakota State Humanities Council Speakers Bureau.
